What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files that are automatically created by your browser when you visit a website. The information contained in a given cookie can only be read by the website from which it originates. Thus, the website cannot access other files on your computer. Thanks to the information contained in cookies, the website 'knows' how you use it and can adapt the content displayed for you or offer you help.

What do websites use cookies for?

On the website we use technical, analytical and marketing cookies. Technical cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the portal. We use them to: optimize our website for the devices and browsers most frequently used by its visitors — so that your computer, tablet or phone will display it correctly and legibly; remember if you have agreed to display selected content on the website of the portal; maintain your session when you visit and log in to the system or use other functionalities of the portal. We use analytical cookies to improve the functioning of our website and to measure, without identifying your personal data, the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Among other things, using analytical cookies, we create aggregate statistics and analyses that help us understand how our service is used. These activities allow us to constantly improve the structure and content of the portal to meet the needs of our current and potential customers to the greatest extent possible. In the case of this type of cookie we use Google's solutions and tools, i.e. Google Analytics and Gemius, i.e. Gemius Traffic. For more information about the Google Analytics code and Google cookies, see the Google Analytics Security and Privacy Policy. Marketing cookies are used to match the content and forms of advertising displayed both on our sites and on our partners' advertising networks, including Google. For more information about the cookies used in Google's advertising network, see the Google AdWords Help page. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ('Google'). Google Analytics uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, but please note that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of the website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above. External suppliers, including Google, may display advertisements ordered by STOCK POLSKA on websites providing their advertising space. These providers, including Google, may use cookies to display advertisements based on your previous visit to https://www.stock-polska.com and related websites. You can opt-out of the use of Google cookies and disable them on the Google advertising options page

How long do we use cookies?

We use two types of cookies: session cookies — they remain on your device until you leave the website or turn off your web browser; permanent — they remain on your device for a specified period of time or until you manually delete them.

What data do we collect via cookies?

Using cookie technology, we only collect anonymous statistical data about you to improve the convenience of using the portal and to minimize the nuisance of advertising. We do not collect any data to identify you. The only information about the user, which, however, without being connected to other data, does not allow for his/her identification, is the IP address from which the user connects. Your IP address can also be shared with our partners, including Google. However, also in this case, your identification based on this data is not possible.

Can I refuse to accept cookies?

By default, web browsers allow cookies to be stored. However, if you do not agree to the use of cookies on the website of the portal, below we indicate how you can change their settings at any time to prevent cookies from being saved/read during your visit to the portal. We would like to remind you that the lack of possibility to save/read cookies by the website of the portal may prevent full and correct use of the system.
