What is the difference between grade one and two?

Grade one (1st grade) is a full grade garment, the remains from overproduction and unsold collections, labelled without defects or faults. Usually in a full range of models and sizes. For some brands, each piece of clothing is in original plastic packaging. We can say hand-on-heart that this is a ready-to-sell product!

Grade two (2nd grade) is new clothes with micro defects, which can usually be easily repaired. The most common defect in this category of clothing is a missing button, a jammed zip, soiling, ripped seam, hole, etc. Grade two clothing is much cheaper than grade one. Of course, you also have to reckon with the fact that some things may not be repairable. With grade two you also get a full range of models and sizes.

The most common defects:

  • Jammed zip

  • No cardboard label with marking

  • No button

  • Soiling

  • Discolouration

  • Ripped seam

  • Ripped belt loop
